Guy previously served as Chief Executive Officer of UtiliQuote, a highly successful venture he co-founded with Aaron Rasty. Guy received his introduction to the world of electrical systems as a nuclear reactor operator aboard US Navy submarines.
As Chief Operating Officer of BlueStar Energy, Aaron's primary role is to manage the day-to-day operations of the company. Aaron draws upon his years of experience as co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of UtiliQuote to help move the company forward. Through Aaron's leadership, BlueStar Energy has become the fastest-growing retail electric supplier in Illinois, achieving triple-digit sales growth in each of the company's last four years.
As Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President of BlueStar Energy, Bob is responsible for directing all financial, supply and administrative activities of the company. Bob brings 20 years of energy-related experience to the position and he has been instrumental in establishing BlueStar as a market leader. Bob's skill as an innovator is evident in the retail electric marketplace as many of the unique products he has developed are now presented to retail customers by many electric suppliers as standard offerings. Prior to joining BlueStar, Bob served as Vice President, Electric Trading and Unregulated Electric Retail for AmerenCILCO.
As General Counsel & Senior Vice President of BlueStar Energy, Jon oversees all regulatory and legal matters for the company. Jon has not only represented BlueStar's interests over the years, he also serves as a leading advocate for customer choice in retail electric markets. Prior to leaving private practice, Jon had served as counsel for BlueStar while working for a Chicago law firm. After guiding BlueStar Energy through Federal and State regulatory certification proceedings, he joined the company as General Counsel in 2004.
As Chief Technology Officer of BlueStar Energy, Tom drives the development of the company's next generation architectural frameworks, product innovation and engineering methodologies. He is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of BlueStar's 7x24 data center operations, IT best practices and technology direction. A twenty year technology veteran, Tom is published and recognized as an expert in the information technology industry. Prior to joining BlueStar, Tom was Chief Technology Officer at Integrated Software Specialists, Inc.
As Director of Lighting Services, Doug directs the Demand-Side Management department through the installation of energy efficient lighting for commercial and industrial customers and prospects of BlueStar Energy. He brings 34 years of experience in product development, project development, lighting design and is Lighting Certified (LC) by NCQLP. Doug is a columnist for Lighting Design + Application , and has articles published in LD+A and many trade publications. He also contributes on ANSI/IESNA lighting standards committees and has taught lighting at University of Wisconsin (Madison), Department of Engineering Professional Development and other UW campuses. IESNA member since 1988, Board of Directors 1998-2002, Technical Review Committee 2002-2005. Member ASHRAE 2008, CIE TC15 (Security Lighting).
